Hello!

Amina is a storyboard artist and 2D animator currently based in Savannah, Georgia. She has completed Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2025 with a B.F.A in Animation. 

 

She has began her artistic journey in her home country Kazakhstan, and as an artist with Kazakh origins, she is often inspired by visual attributes, music and legends from cultures in Central Asia. Since these cultures are not common in media, Amina tries to incorporate them in her own art.​ Amina's favourite part in a project is the earliest stage that involves thorough research, pitching ideas and lot's of quick sketches! She enjoys brainstorming and combining themes that rarely go together to come up with something unique and original.

Outside of work, you can find her drawing from life, watching movies or playing tennis.
